Sandra Jones, age 79, formerly of Seymour, beloved wife of the late John Francis Jones, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026.
Sandra Jones, age 79, formerly of Seymour, beloved wife of the late John Francis Jones, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 in Wallingford. Sandra was born in Derby, CT on March 22, 1947 to the late Harry and Katherine Dziak Petriszyn.
Sandra is survived by her children: Natasha Peruzzi and her husband Ron of Milford, John Francis Jones, II and Hedieh Fuller of Stamford, Nickole Katherine Staves and her husband Andrew of Tolland, four grandchildren; Ana and Alexandria Peruzzi and Benjamin and Katherine Staves, and sisters, Carol Milek of Seymour and Kim Zaksewicz of Shelton. Sandra is predeceased by her brother, Gregory Petriszyn.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Three Saints Cemetery, Seymour, CT. The Gregory Doyle Funeral Home, Milford is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
