2. Man Charged After Bar Fight In Milford, Police Say (patch.com) — Milford police say a disturbance at Archie Moore's on Factory Lane led to the arrest of a 39-year-old New Haven man last week. The man is accused of shoving an employee, damaging plants outside, and later spitting at an officer while resisting arrest. He faces multiple assault and disorderly conduct-related charges and is scheduled for a court appearance in September.

Milford approves razing house, construction of six apartments under affordable-housing law (ctpost.com) — Milford officials have approved demolishing a single-family house at 21 Meadowside Road and replacing it with six apartments that will join an existing 15-unit complex next door.
