Family-Friendly Attraction To Return To Milford Mall (patch.com) — Families in Milford can look forward to the return of Funbox, a massive inflatable bounce park setting up again at the Connecticut Post Mall from Sept. 4 through Nov. 1. The attraction offers 25,000 square feet of inflatable activities, themed Saturdays, and expanded options for birthday parties, school groups, and camps, with advance tickets starting at $21.
   

3. Borough Of Woodmont Annual Meeting Coming Up This Week (patch.com) — Milford residents in the Borough of Woodmont are invited to the 2026 Annual Meeting this Thursday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. at 128 Kings Highway. The session is billed as a key chance for locals to stay informed on community issues and take part directly in borough governance.
   

4. 35th Annual Folks on Spokes & Step Forward Ride + Walk for Mental Health (westfaironline.com) — Milford will host the 35th Annual Folks on Spokes & Step Forward Ride + Walk on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Fowler Field downtown. Cyclists and walkers of all ages can enjoy coastal routes, kids' activities, lunch, music, and a remembrance ceremony, all to support Bridges Healthcare's mental health and addiction recovery services.
   

5. Milford High Schools Among Best In CT, New Rankings Reveal (patch.com) — Milford's two public high schools, Foran and Jonathan Law, both earned spots among Connecticut's top 100 in new U.S. News & World Report rankings. The story explains how schools were evaluated and where Milford's high schools landed compared with others statewide and nationally.
