• Silver Hill Hospital In New Canaan Appoints New Psychiatrist To Adult Inpatient Team (patch.com) — New Canaan's Silver Hill Hospital has added psychiatrist Dr. Samantha Eney to its adult inpatient team, expanding local care for complex mental health and substance use disorders. With specialized training in addiction psychiatry and experience developing evidence-based curricula, she will support individualized treatment for New Canaan-area adults facing mood disorders, psychosis and withdrawal challenges.
   

• New Canaan Girls Soccer Breaks Even With Danbury in Season Opener (newcanaansentinel.com) — New Canaan's varsity girls soccer team opened their season with a hard-fought 1–1 draw against Danbury and will host Staples tonight at 6 p.m. at Dunning Stadium. Coach Rich Hickson praised the Rams' stronger second half, highlighted by Haley Schlafman's equalizing goal and several late chances that nearly produced a win.
   

• New Stephen Ministers: 'Christ does the work' (bridgeportdiocese.org) — Six parishioners at St. Aloysius Church in New Canaan were recently commissioned as Stephen Ministers after more than 50 hours of training to support fellow parishioners through personal crises. Pastor Monsignor Rob Kinnally says the one-on-one, Christ-centered ministry is already bringing visible healing and invites other parishes to learn from the growing 25-member team's experience.
