NEW HAVEN, CT — Early Monday evening, a New Haven man driving a pickup truck, whom police charge was drunk, struck three pedestrians, several parked vehicles, and a food truck, according to New Haven police spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart.

The incident occurred at 398 Long Wharf Dr., the home of the Long Wharf food trucks, he said.

The driver, Elio Gonzalez, 38, was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.
