Silver Alert: New Haven Girl, 13, Missing Since Sept. 29, Last Seen On Shelton Ave.: NHPD (patch.com) — New Haven residents are being asked to help locate 13-year-old Arielis Valentine, who has been missing since September 29 and was last seen on Shelton Avenue. Police released her physical description, including strawberry blonde hair, brown eyes, and a nose piercing, along with details of the clothing she wore. Anyone with information is urged to contact the New Haven Police Department's Missing Persons unit or call 911, with anonymous tips welcome.

New Haven Gas Prices Above State Average As Connecticut Prices Ease (patch.com) — Drivers in New Haven are paying more for gas than the Connecticut and national averages, with local stations averaging $4.51 for a gallon of regular. The report lists specific prices at a dozen city stations, showing a wide spread from the low $4.20s to over $5.30. While statewide prices have dipped slightly over the past week, New Haven motorists continue to feel higher-than-average costs at the pump.
   

3. Southern CT State University Hosts AI, Ethics, and Public Policy Conference Friday (patch.com) — New Haven residents and educators are invited to Southern Connecticut State University on Friday for a one-day conference exploring how generative AI is reshaping classrooms, workplaces, and public life. Fight On New Haven Green Leads to Stabbing: Police (patch.com) — Police in New Haven report that a fight on the New Haven Green Monday night ended in a stabbing, with two additional people taken to the hospital. Artist's 'Fumble' Lands In Dixwell (newhavenindependent.org) — A major new solo show by acclaimed artist Derek Fordjour is now open at NXTHVN in New Haven's Dixwell neighborhood, running through Nov. 22. The exhibit, "Fumble," explores the overlap of sports, art, and Black history, while Fordjour and NXTHVN founder Titus Kaphar emphasize building long-term opportunities for emerging Black artists in the city.
