• East Lyme Selectmen Approve Investment Policy, Review Recreation Fees And Property Complaints (patch.com) — East Lyme’s Board of Selectmen recently approved a new short‑term investment policy and weighed changes to recreation fees, traffic enforcement, and pension oversight, all affecting local services. Niantic residents also pressed for a property maintenance ordinance, while officials discussed the future of Niantic Center School, parking on Main Street, and progress on the Exit 74 and former police station projects.
   

• East Lyme Ecumenical Concert & Food Drive at Niantic Community Church (ctpublic.org) — Niantic residents are invited to a community-wide ecumenical choir concert and food drive at Niantic Community Church on Friday, November 6, at 7 p.m. at 170 Pennsylvania Avenue. Local church choirs will join together in a long-running Thanksgiving tradition, collecting food and monetary donations to support Care & Share of East Lyme and Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries.
