ā¢ Botelle Resolves MBR Differences with State (norfolkct.org) ā Norfolkās Botelle School has reached an agreement with the state to satisfy Connecticutās Minimum Budget Requirement and avoid losing about $100,000 in future Education Cost Sharing funds. Town leaders will allocate an extra $58,000 to this yearās school budget, then return the unused money to the town surplus after July, pending town meeting approval.

ā¢ Tirrell Trims Budget To Flat Mill Rate Increase (norfolkct.org) ā Norfolkās proposed $9.43 million town budget is structured to keep the mill rate flat at 22.49, offering taxpayers a rare year without a tax increase. First Selectman Henry Tirrell trimmed contributions to the fund balance while still funding major needs like new fire trucks, the firehouse project, and City Meadow restoration work. Ā Ā Ā
