• CT animal rights group offering reward after 3 kittens thrown from moving car (newsbreak.com) — North Stonington residents are being asked to help identify whoever threw three kittens from a moving car on Rocky Hollow Road, with a $5,000 reward offered for information. Desmond’s Army and local Animal Control urge neighbors to review security footage and report any tips, while the injured kittens continue recovering and are not yet available for adoption.
   

• Building the Future: EB's New Central Distribution Hub (eblanding.com) — Electric Boat is rapidly building a massive 480,000‑square‑foot distribution hub at 45 Frontage Road in North Stonington, with a topping‑off ceremony set for Oct. 23. The high‑tech, energy‑efficient warehouse will shift major warehousing operations off the Groton shipyard, bringing significant industrial activity, traffic changes, and potential job opportunities directly to town.
