NORTH BRANFORD, CT—The North Branford Fire Department will be conducting a water shuttle drill in the Sea Hill Road neighborhood Monday, Nov. 16, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
A water shuttle drill is a "fire service training exercise that practices moving large volumes of water from a distant source (like a lake, river, or remote hydrant) to a fire scene using mobile tankers (tenders) and portable dump tanks," according to Firehouse.
Residents traveling through the area are asked to use caution, as fire apparatus and personnel will be operating in and near the roadway throughout the drill.
