Wakeley Community & Recreation Center, featuring candidates for the 34th Senate and 87th House districts. Residents can hear brief remarks, ask questions, and learn where each candidate stands on issues affecting North Haven, from schools and taxes to public safety and transportation, in a nonpartisan setting.
   

• Tow truck drivers highlight dangers on Connecticut roads after deadly Bloomfield crash (nbcconnecticut.com) — A North Haven tow truck driver is joining colleagues statewide in warning drivers to slow down and move over after a fellow operator was killed in Bloomfield. Workers from North Haven and West Haven describe close calls and say many motorists ignore Connecticut's Move Over law, even after lawmakers increased penalties and added education requirements to protect roadside crews.
