South Norwalk Library Adds Electric Vehicle Charging Station (patch.com) — Drivers in Norwalk now have another place to charge their electric vehicles, with a new two-port ChargePoint station installed at the South Norwalk Library's parking lot on Washington Street. The project, years in the making, was completed through a partnership among the library, South Norwalk Electric and Water, and Guardian Services Industries, and offers the city's standard $0.25 per kilowatt-hour rate.

Man Accused Of Possessing Child Pornography Sentenced To Over 10 Years In Prison: Feds (patch.com) — Norwalk residents are learning that 36-year-old Rudolph Girdhari of Norwalk has been sentenced in federal court to more than 10 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for possession of child pornography. Federal authorities say an FBI investigation tied him to online trading networks, and a 2024 search of his Norwalk home uncovered thousands of illegal images and videos.
