• Connecticut flash flooding hits towns after heavy rain (ncadvertiser.com) — Norwalk saw serious flash flooding on Sunday, with multiple local roads, parts of Route 1, and the Norwalk Oyster Festival's Sunday events shut down due to high water. Officials across Fairfield County are urging residents to avoid flooded streets, heed barricades, and call 911 for any storm-related emergencies as damage assessments continue.
