1. Coffee With First Selectman Zeoli On Senior Tax Relief
When: Wednesday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m.
Where: Orange Senior Center, High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road
What to know: First Selectman James Zeoli returns to discuss the pressing issues of Orange, joined by Shannon Maliff of the Tax Assessor's Office, who will talk about senior tax relief programs, according to the senior center's October newsletter. Call 203-891-4784 to register.

2. Flu Clinic At High Plains
When: Tuesday, Oct. 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Probate Room, High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road
What to know: The Orange Health Department and OVNA are holding flu clinics on Tuesdays in October, according to the newsletter; the remaining dates are Oct. 13, 20 and 27. Bring a photo ID and insurance card. Flu shots are usually covered by insurance or Medicare, and the vaccine is recorded in the state's CT WiZ database.
