The Garden Club of Newtown invites local residents and club members to a presentation of the program Color Your Garden-Flowering Bulbs for Every Season. The program will be held on Tuesday, September 22, at the C.H. Booth Library. The presenter, Christine Darnell, is the owner of Boutique Landscape & Garden Design of Lyme, Connecticut.
Using her artist’s eye towards color and texture, Christine designs plant combinations from the beginning of the design process to the completion of the landscape plan.She will show a gallery of her work to illustrate her approach to garden design.
The program, in the Olga Knoenpke room of the library at 25 Main Street in Newtown will start at 1:00 p.m. and there is no charge for admission. All are welcome.
