📰 News we're reading
• Equipment Failures Behind Oxford Gas Release: Report (patch.com) — Oxford residents were jolted awake in July when equipment failures at the town's natural gas compressor station released more than 35 million cubic feet of gas before workers manually stopped it. While the pipeline owner says there was no threat to public safety, nearby residents and environmental advocates are pressing for better transparency and notification about future gas releases affecting Oxford and surrounding communities.
