The new owners are planning to restore it (courant.com) — A long-vacant industrial complex in Plantsville’s Atwater Street corridor has been sold to Cable Management, which plans to restore the historic former Rex Forge manufacturing facility. The 111,000-square-foot building, plagued by deterioration and wire theft, changed hands for $1.275 million, setting up a significant redevelopment opportunity for the village and wider Southington community.
