Lyme, East Lyme & Old Lyme Weekend Guide: Wee Faerie Village, 'Patchwork' And An Art•Bar Happy Hour

The Florence Griswold Museum's Wee Faerie Village and 'Patchwork,' Lyme Art Association shows and a Lyme farmers market.

LYME, CT — Old Lyme's Lyme Street art district leads the Columbus Day weekend for the three Lymes, from Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11, with fairy houses on the Florence Griswold grounds, two members' shows next door and a Saturday farmers market in Lyme.

  • Wee Faerie Village and "Patchwork: Connecticut Artists Consider 250" — Thursday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum's artistic walking trail of faerie house installations runs through Nov. 1, and "Patchwork" brings contemporary Connecticut artists' responses to America's 250th birthday through Nov. 8; Sunday's Wee Faerie Crafternoon runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $18 for adults and $7.50 for ages 5 to 12.
