• Driver Hospitalized Following 2-Vehicle Crash In Rocky Hill (patch.com) — Emergency crews in Rocky Hill responded Thursday afternoon to a serious two-vehicle crash at West Street and Capital Boulevard that heavily damaged both vehicles and briefly closed the road. Firefighters reported no one needed extrication, but one driver was evaluated by paramedics and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the scene was cleared.
   

• Suspect in fatal Rocky Hill stabbing to be extradited from New York (nhregister.com) — A man accused of fatally stabbing a woman at a Rocky Hill condominium complex has agreed in New York court to be extradited back to Connecticut to face a murder charge. He was previously arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman at a Rocky Hill self‑storage facility in March, and local police are continuing to withhold the homicide victim's identity.
   

• Northwest Catholic high school football preview 2026 (rep-am.com) — Northwest Catholic's 2026 football preview includes a home matchup against Rocky Hill on October 24 at 10:30 a.m., one of several key dates on a young team's challenging schedule. With only three starters returning after a state finals run, the Lions will lean on emerging playmakers, giving Rocky Hill fans a look at a rebuilding but ambitious opponent.
