Derby Neck Library - Escape Room: Escape the Mummy's Curse

This all ages walking club&nbsp;meets at Derby Greenway&nbsp;along the Naugatuck River, at the gravel parking lot at O'Sullivan's Island at the south end of Caroline Street.
As we walk along the path by the river, we'll share stories of exceptional people and events from the Valley throughout history as narrative stories.
This club meets at 9:00 sharp on Wednesdays throughout summer, regardless of the weather. Our librarian Brendan will lead the walks and volunteers from Derby Historical Society will tell the stories, but all attendees are responsible for their own health and safety. Please check the weather and use your best judgment before engaging in any outdoor exercise.

Enjoy snacks while watching movies or anime, playing console and PC games, making crafts, or joining a tabletop game. Teens can also earn volunteer hours by helping the Teen Librarian with take-and-make projects.
Movies, anime, and other visual media shown during Yap and Snack will be selected with a goal of staying within a PG–13 rating whenever possible. We encourage parents and guardians to be aware that some content may include themes suitable for teens ages 13 and up.

We’ll provide pizza, a drink, something salty, something sweet, and a new or old favorite on the library’s big screen. No registration required, but doors close to newcomers at 5:15pm. Special thanks to our Friends group for their assistance during this program.
While not required, please consider bringing a canned good to donate to those in need!
