Decision Made On Classes At Shelton, Derby Public Schools For Feb. 25

SHELTON-DERBY, CT — Shelton and Derby public schools will be closed Wednesday as snow continues to fall in Connecticut.

According to the district's website, "Shelton Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026," and offices will operate on a two-hour delay.

Derby Public Schools will also be closed Feb. 25, according to the district's website.

Wednesday marks the third day in a row school has been canceled in Shelton and Derby following a major winter storm that battered the region for most of Sunday and into Monday afternoon with heavy snow and strong wind gusts.
