Decision Made On Monday Classes At Shelton, Derby Public Schools

SHELTON-DERBY, CT — Shelton and Derby public schools announced Sunday that classes have been canceled for Monday due to inclement weather.

In an announcement posted to the district's website Sunday, district officials said schools will be closed Jan. 26, as well as district offices.

Derby Public Schools also announced Sunday on the district website that schools will be closed Jan. 26.

Some areas of Connecticut have received eight inches of snow already as of Sunday afternoon, and this major storm hasn't even reached its peak yet.
