Decision Made On Tuesday Classes At Shelton, Derby Public Schools
Shelton and Derby public schools have announced a change in schedule following heavy snow that impacted the region Sunday into Monday.
SHELTON-DERBY, CT — Shelton Public Schools will have a 3-hour delay Tuesday following a heavy snowstorm that impacted the region Sunday into Monday.
According to the district's website, there will additionally be no pre-kindergarten classes held Jan. 27.
Derby Public Schools will be closed Tuesday "to allow for additional clearing of snow," according to the district's website.

The weekend storm left piles of snow all across the state, with some areas of Connecticut receiving 12 to 18 inches of snow.
