New Grocery Store To Hold Soft Opening In Shelton This Week
A new grocery store planned to open in the White Hills area of Shelton will hold a soft opening this week.
SHELTON, CT — The Market by Key Food, a new grocery store planned to open in the White Hills area of Shelton, will hold a soft opening Thursday.
According to the new store's Facebook page, the soft opening is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. at 200 Leavenworth Road in Shelton.
"We appreciate the community's enthusiasm as it was a long wait," a post on the store's Facebook page Tuesday reads. "We look forward to serving you guys and the store being your new favorite place to shop! Come visit us and be part of the beginning of something special in our community!"

The store noted it originally planned to open Wednesday, however final deliveries were delayed due to a storm that passed through Connecticut over the weekend.
The new market will also offer a free club savings card, which shoppers can use to "clip coupons, browse the weekly circular and create your shopping list- all in one place so you never miss a deal," according to the store's Facebook page.
