• Canton, Simsbury Schools Awarded $850K In State Special Education Grants (patch.com) — Simsbury schools are set to receive $350,000 in new state funding to expand local special education programming and reduce costly out-of-district placements. Combined with neighboring Canton and New Hartford, the region will see $850,000 from Connecticut's new High-Quality Special Education Incentive Grant Program, aimed at strengthening services so more students with disabilities can learn closer to home.
