2 Masked Burglars Swipe Valuables At Kay Jewelers In Bristol: PD
The theft happened on Monday, according to police.
BRISTOL, CT — Two masked thieves stole jewelry Monday evening from Kay Jewelers on Farmington Avenue, according to police.
Lt. Patrick Krajewski said the theft happened around 6:30 p.m.
Police described it as a “smash and grab.” According to police, the two suspects used a hammer to break open a jewelry display case.

The thieves then took jewelry and fled the store, police said.
Police did not yet have an estimate on the total value of the stolen jewelry, as they are awaiting the results of a store inventory.
