4 Dogs Found In Southington; Town Seeks Help Finding Owners

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington Animal Control is asking for the public's help identifying the owners of four dogs found in different areas of town.

The dogs are currently being housed at the Southington Animal Control Facility, according to a social media post from the agency.

Animal control officials shared photographs of the four dogs, along with the streets where they were found, in hopes of reuniting them with their owners.

The dogs were found in the following locations:

• Mill Street: A tan dog with large, upright ears and a darker muzzle.
• Mount Vernon Road: A brown dog with a dark muzzle and floppy ears.
• Canal Street: A dark-colored dog with some gray around its muzzle and white markings on its chest.
• Pleasant Street: A dark brindle-colored dog with a white chest and white markings on its face.

"If anyone knows the owners of these four friendly dogs, they are currently at the Southington Animal Control Facility," the agency wrote.

Anyone who recognizes one of the dogs or has information about its owner is asked to contact Southington Animal Control at 860-628-8053.

Photographs of all four dogs are available on the Southington Animal Control Facebook page.
