<p>This auction is live now and runs through Tuesday, August 25th. It begins to close at 7pm. You can click onto the auction site now and look at the items, register for the auction and begin to bid. They will ask you for your CC information ignorer to bid on items.</p>
<p>It Features antiques, vintage pieces, fine art, rugs and more from local estates. <br>The auction pick up day is Friday, August 28, 2026 from 11am - 2pm. Depending on the items(s) purchased, there are 2 pick up locations....Both are in Westport, CT and are 3 minutes apart in distance. You will be notified on your emailed invoice and by text which pick up location has your item(s). If you cannot make the pick up day/time, Simply Estated MUST be notified before the August 28th. Any items that you are having shipped MUST be picked up within 10 days of the closing of the auction.</p>
<p>If any and all items are not picked up within this time frame, Simply Estated will consider your items abandoned and you will forfeit all right to the item.</p>
<p>We do not offer in-house shipping. The winning bidder will be responsible for their own shipping . Please contact us prior to bidding for a list of our recommended 3rd party shipping companies. All bids are final and are subject to our terms and conditions.</p>

<p>Join us for a special open house celebrating the work of our summer interns and the stories preserved at the Barnes Museum.</p>
<p>Throughout the day, guests can explore a showcase of projects completed by our interns, take a full tour of the museum, and view Southington’s 250, featuring objects selected and curated by the interns from the museum’s collection.</p>
<p>Light refreshments will be served, and all are welcome.</p>
<p>Admission is by suggested donation. Contributions made during the open house will support our campaign to repaint and preserve the exterior of the Barnes Museum so this treasured local landmark can continue to serve the community for generations to come.</p>

<p>MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL VOCAL CHORDS (MHVC) seeks altos, tenors and basses to join them in preparing for their 36 annual holiday concert to be held on Sunday, December 6, 2026.&nbsp; The event will be held at Portland High School, 95 High St., Portland at 2pm.&nbsp; We are searching for enthusiastic men and women (over age 18) to expand our Vocal Chord family.&nbsp; No auditions or prior experience required and you do not have to be an employee of Middlesex Health.&nbsp; Deadline to join is Tuesday, September 8th.&nbsp; This is a community-focused group that has delighted audiences for 36 years with energetic concerts featuring a wide range of musical styles.&nbsp; Our 80 current members hail from Central and Southern CT and represent diverse backgrounds.&nbsp; What unites us is our shared love for singing.</p>
