Two separate Southington stores sold two separate winning lottery games to two separate Southington residents on Monday, Feb. 9.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — If you bought a scratch-off lottery game in Southington on Monday, Feb. 9, you might want to play it soon if you haven't already.
That's because that day was an especially lucky one for lottery players in Southington.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., two separate Southington locations sold winning scratch-off tickets that same day, with two different Southington residents cashing in.

On that magical Monday, a Southington resident won $25,000 playing the 100X the Cash game, a ticket purchased at the Country Farms Convenience Store, 682 West St.
The game costs $10 to play and has a $200,000, but it's doubtful the player in this instance is complaining too much about the $25,000 payout.

Also on Monday, a Southington resident won $25,000 playing the 20X the Cash game with a ticket purchased at the Liquor Outlet on 400 N. Main St., Southington.
That game costs only $2 to play and carries with it a $25,000 maximum payout, making for a nice investment for this particular player.
