Southington Resident Wins Large CT Lotto Payout

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A resident's trip to a Southington store last week resulted in more than just what was purchased that day.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the Southington resident won $100,000 Feb. 18 playing a scratch-off game.

The game, $500,000 Cashword 2nd Edition, was purchased at the King Food Mart, located at 212 Main St., Southington.

The game costs $30 to play and has a maximum payout of $500,000.
