STAFFORD, CT — The Granby-Canton co-op beat the Stafford-Somers football team 42-21 on Friday night. At E.O. Smith, which serves Willington, the girls soccer team beat East Hartford 8-0 on Friday, and the boys team won 2-0 at East Hartford.

Stafford High School (Stafford Bulldogs)

  • Football (Stafford-Somers co-op): The Granby-Canton co-op beat the Stafford-Somers co-op 42-21 Friday, Oct. 23, at Canton High School. Record: 3-3. Next: Friday, Oct. 30, at the Weaver-Hartford Public-Classical co-op, 7 p.m.
  • Girls soccer: Canton High School beat Stafford 6-0 Friday, Oct. 23, at Stafford. Record: 0-12. Next: Tuesday, Oct. 27, vs. Lakeview at home, 5:30 p.m.
  • Field hockey (Stafford-Rockville co-op): Somers High School beat the Stafford-Rockville co-op 3-0 Thursday, Oct. 22, at Stafford. Record: 0-14. No further game had been posted.
