Police Seek Man Who Eluded Police During Foot Chase: Stamford PD
Anyone with information on the man's whereabouts is asked to contact the Stamford Police Department.
STAMFORD, CT — Stamford police are asking for the public's help to locate a man they say eluded capture following a brief foot pursuit late last month.
Police said they are seeking Damani Morales, 27, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
In an incident on Sept. 22, police said they were searching for a "wanted" individual who was in the area of Richmond Hill Avenue and Rose Park Avenue.

That person, identified as Morales, was seen entering the home of a family member, police said at the time.
A perimeter was set up as officers sought permission to search the home, police said, adding that permission was denied. Officers used flash bangs in an attempt to get Morales out of the home.

After a search warrant was obtained and officers went inside, it was determined Morales was no longer there.
"Morales has an extensive arrest history and is currently wanted on an active warrant for Escape in the First Degree," police said.

Anyone with information regarding Morales’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Stamford Police Department or submit an anonymous tip.
The public can submit an anonymous tip via text by texting STAMFORDPD and the tip information to 847411, or by calling the SPD crimestoppers tip line at 203-977-TIPS.
"If you see him, contact police and provide his location," police said.
