• Road Closure In Place For Final Phase Of Project In Stratford (patch.com) — Stratford drivers face an extended closure of River Road as the final phase of replacing a 100-year-old utility tower moves ahead under state and Eversource oversight. Mayor David Chess says a detour is in place through Sept. 19, and town departments are coordinating to support affected businesses and maintain emergency services access.
