• Temporary Bridge Plan Stalls As Suffield Street Remains Closed (patch.com) — Drivers in Suffield are still facing a full closure of Suffield Street near the Windsor Locks line after a plan for a temporary bridge stalled when selectmen declined to waive bidding rules. The town is working on a permanent culvert rebuild but has not announced a construction schedule or reopening date, leaving traffic detoured until at least the next Board of Selectmen meeting on Oct. 7.
