5 Things To Know In Tolland: Early Voting At Town Hall, Library Book Sale, Senior Center Events And More

TOLLAND, CT — Early voting for the Nov. 3 election opens Monday on the second floor of Town Hall, the Friends of the Library book sale continues through Friday, and the Senior Center hosts a community vaccine clinic and fall activities.

Here are five things to know about life around Tolland this week:

1. Early Voting Opens At Town Hall
When: Monday, Oct. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 and 29)
Where: Conference Rooms B and C, second floor, Town Hall, 21 Tolland Green
What to know: Early voting for the Nov. 3 election is in Conference Rooms B and C on the second floor of Town Hall, according to the town's 2026 election calendar. On Election Day, District 2 votes at the Senior Center and Districts 1 and 3 at the Recreation Center.

2. Friends Of The Library Book Sale
When: Through Friday, Oct. 23
Where: Library Program Room, Tolland Public Library, 21 Tolland Green
What to know: The Friends of the Tolland Public Library book sale runs through Friday in the library program room, according to the town. Proceeds support library programs, museum passes and the toy library.

When: Monday, Oct. 19, 1 to 4 p.m.

4. Pumpkin Painting, Cookie Decorating At The Senior Center
When: Tuesday, Oct. 20, 10:30 a.m.; Thursday, Oct. 22, 10:30 a.m.
Where: Tolland Senior Center, 674 Tolland Stage Road
What to know: Seniors can paint a pumpkin with Lincoln the therapy dog Tuesday and take a "Boo-tiful" cookie decorating class Thursday, according to the Town Manager's report. Foundations Foot Care is also at the center Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

5. Free Teen Leadership Program Signups
When: Session begins Tuesday, Oct. 27
Where: Tolland Youth Services, Town Hall, 21 Tolland Green
What to know: High schoolers can sign up now for a free 12-week teen leadership program starting Oct. 27, sponsored by Tolland Youth Services with Ashford, Mansfield and Willington youth and human services and facilitated by Quiet Teen Coaching, according to the town.
