• Torrington teen to build bus stop for community at local food bank (fox61.com) — A Torrington Eagle Scout is raising $7,000 to build a permanent, sheltered bus stop directly outside Friendly Hands Food Bank, making it safer and easier for mostly elderly riders to reach services. With about $4,500 already raised, construction is expected to finish this summer, adding benches, weather protection, and storage for supplies like pet food to better serve local families.
