While Trumbull has no application before its boards, residents are urged to speak at Monroe's hearings, submit comments, and, if needed, pursue legal appeals to ensure Trumbull neighborhood impacts are fully considered.
   

• Man gets two years in prison for defrauding Amazon out of $3.5M with phony East Coast transportation scheme (theoaklandpress.com) — A 25-year-old Trumbull resident has been sentenced to two years in federal prison and ordered to repay more than $3.5 million after admitting he defrauded Amazon through fake trucking businesses. Prosecutors say he created or misused 23 companies to bill for over 1,000 transportation jobs that were never completed between 2019 and 2021.
