'Bad' Bunny — Rabbit Blamed For Crash In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, CT — A bounding bunny was blamed for a crash in Mansfield Friday afternoon, state police said.

According to a state police crash report, at 3:24 p.m. that day, a 19-year-old man was heading west on Mansfield City Road in a 2019 Audi A8 L when a bunny attempted to cross the road.

The driver swerved around the rabbit, but ran off the road and bashed into a stone wall on the right side, according to a crash report.

A crash report indicated that no injuries were reported, but the car had to be towed from the scene due to "disabling damage."

The driver was issued a ticket for failure to maintain the proper lane, according to a crash report.
