Richard Koropatkin, 75, died Aug. 11. He died at Gladeview Rehabilitation Center in Old Saybrook after a battle with kidney cancer and leukemia. He was born Dec. 19, 1950, in Hartford.
John Erwin Whitham, 89, died June 19. A 1954 graduate of Manchester High School, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut's College of Agriculture. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Whitham of Vernon, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Source:

Patricia E. (Candlin) White, 92, died June 7. A 1954 graduate of Manchester High School, she frequently volunteered in the physical therapy department at Fox Hill Nursing Home in Vernon and was an avid bowler and golfer. She is survived by her son, Keith White of Stafford Springs, and her sister, Gail Wnuk of Vernon.
Mary C. Lee, 74, died June 3. Born in Rockville, she was part of the Rockville High School community.

Julia (Pavelonis) Doherty, 92, died May 13. A 1952 graduate of Rockville High School, she served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War before earning a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Connecticut and teaching second grade at St. Bernard School in Rockville for eight years. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James A. Doherty Jr., two sons and four grandchildren.
David G. Taylor, 68, died April 21. Formerly of Manchester and East Hartford, he was the husband of 30 years of Linda E. Taylor.
