• $100K Lottery Prize Sold In Wallingford (patch.com) — Wallingford residents might want to check their recent CASH 5 tickets after a $100,000 winning ticket was sold at Tarrar Grocery on North Colony Street and claimed by a local player. Under a state law that took effect last year, the Connecticut Lottery no longer releases winners' names without written consent, so the big winner's identity remains private.
   

• 55 kondracki lane (ct.gov) — State housing officials have decided that the proposed action at 55 Kondracki Lane in Wallingford does not require a full Environmental Impact Evaluation under Connecticut's environmental law, clearing the way for the project to proceed. After reviewing public comments, the Department of Housing issued a formal memo and checklist, and residents can request related documents through the agency's contact in Hartford.
