Amazon's first drone delivery plan for Connecticut reaches key point (stamfordadvocate.com) — Amazon's proposed Prime Air drone hub in North Haven could soon deliver packages to much of Wallingford, pending federal and state approvals now under review. Residents may be able to choose 30‑minute drone delivery for eligible orders, with DEEP accepting public comments through Oct. 1 before issuing a final decision by mid‑October.
   

5. Lyman Hall football outlasts Branford behind Ryan Casey's 5 TDs in 'instant classic' (theridgefieldpress.com) — Lyman Hall's football team thrilled Wallingford fans with a 38–34 home win over Branford at Fitzgerald Field, powered by quarterback Ryan Casey's five total touchdowns. The back-and-forth game featured big passing plays, a late go-ahead TD run, and a final defensive stand, moving the Trojans to 2–0 for the first time since 2004.
