1. $6,000 reward offered after dog found wandering Waterbury with bullet fragments in face (newstimes.com) — A $6,000 reward is being offered for information about Gracie, a dog found near Waterbury's Fulton Park on October 30 with gunshot injuries. Police say she is improving with veterinary care as they investigate. Anyone with information can call detectives at 203-574-6941 or anonymous Crime Stoppers at 203-755-1234.
   

2. Retired Bridgeport lieutenant is back. This time, it's a $75K job (greenwichtime.com) — Bridgeport is bringing retired police Lt. John Cueto back as a part-time financial consultant earning $75,000 annually. He would oversee budgeting, grants and overtime, duties partly handled by Assistant Chief Frank Capozzi, who is from Waterbury. Officials say the arrangement would free police leadership to focus on public safety.
   

3. Connecticut home sales fall despite more listings in 4 big markets (rep-am.com) — Waterbury homes appear to be finding buyers steadily even as high mortgage rates weigh on Connecticut sales. Of more than 70 houses listed locally this week, only a few had been on the market since before September. Statewide, roughly 1,050 fewer properties sold through October than during the same period last year.
   

4. CT Culture Corner: Goose adds Ridgefield show after Mohegan Sun concert (darientimes.com) — Goose has added a Nov. 16 Ridgefield Playhouse performance after its scheduled Nov. 13 concert at Mohegan Sun Arena. The smaller show will help launch the playhouse's annual food drive benefiting Ridgefield Meals on Wheels and RVNA. The Mohegan Sun concert coincides with the Wilton band's sixth studio album, 'Big Modern!'
