• DEEP and Town of Waterford Announce Completion of Niantic River State Boat Launch Overflow Parking (ct.gov) — Waterford residents now have expanded, paved overflow parking at the Niantic River State Boat Launch on Mago Point Way, improving access to the river, Long Island Sound, and nearby businesses. The $800,000 state–town project adds marked spaces, lighting, sidewalks, and a stormwater rain garden, with clear seasonal parking rules and future readiness for electric vehicle charging.
