Daniel Hand captured the team title by one stroke, while Griswold’s Josiah Wells earned individual medalist honors with a 1-over-par 71.

Threats targeting Hamden middle school, Walmart were 'deliberate hoax,' police say (newstimes.com) — A recent wave of fake school threats across Connecticut included one that forced an evacuation at a Watertown middle school, though it was ultimately deemed a hoax. Hamden police say similar anonymous calls about shooters and explosives at Hamden Middle School and a Walmart were also swatting incidents, stressing that all such reports are taken seriously and false reports carry legal consequences.
