'Anything Goes' At Conard High School's Spring Musical This Weekend

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Conard High School will stage its 2026 spring musical, "Anything Goes," over two weekends starting this weekend at its auditorium in West Hartford.

Performances are scheduled for March 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 7 p.m., and March 8 at 2 p.m., at the Conard High School Auditorium, 110 Beechwood Road.

Tickets are now on sale through the school’s drama program website.

"Anything Goes" features music and lyrics by Cole Porter and an original book by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse. The show was later revised by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse.

Set aboard the ocean liner SS American, the musical follows stowaway Billy Crocker as he tries to win the heart of heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to an English lord. He is aided by nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy No. 13, “Moonface” Martin.

The production is known for its comedic plot and well-known songs, including "You're the Top" and "Anything Goes."

School organizers said they look forward to welcoming the community to the performances.
