"The greater Hartford community is an incredible fit for Level99. We’re excited to finally open our doors and invite guests to experience the thrill and challenge of Level99," said Matt DuPlessie, CEO of Level99.

"Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, a unique date night, something to do with family visiting for the holidays, or the best company party ever, Level99 gets you off the couch, off your phone, and working together, physically and mentally, all while laughing and making real memories together."

What To Expect At Level99

Unlike traditional arcades, Level99 focuses on physical and mental challenges that require participants to work together, solve puzzles, and test their agility, strategy, and creativity.

Players can move throughout the facility and select games based on their interests and abilities.

Participants earn stars, collect rewards, and compete for positions on the venue's leaderboard.

Among the featured games are:

  • Axe Run: Players race across a narrow beam while avoiding swinging axes, attempting to reach a finish button without stepping off the course.
  • Ninja Swing: Participants use ropes to move between platforms, testing their strength, balance, and coordination.
  • Mansion Banquet: Players solve logic puzzles to arrange dinner guests according to their preferred seating, meals and drinks.

The facility will accommodate up to 600 players in its gaming area.

Two private event spaces will also be available for corporate outings, birthday celebrations and other gatherings, with options for groups ranging from 15 to 600 people.

Private events are expected to begin in December, and reservations are being accepted through the company's event inquiry website.

Two Roads Restaurant And Bar

The new Two Roads Kitchen & Tap will operate alongside Level99, offering a counter-service restaurant and bar open to both game participants and customers visiting solely for food and drinks.

The restaurant will accommodate approximately 160 guests and feature a three-sided bar.

Its menu will include Detroit-style pizza, wagyu burgers, tacos and other dishes prepared from scratch, along with Connecticut-brewed Two Roads beer and cocktails.

Featured menu items include:

  • House-Made Birria Tacos: Slow-braised meat seasoned with chili spices and served with a savory dipping broth.
  • Roni, Roni, Roni Pizza: Detroit-style pizza made with 48-hour cold-fermented dough, pepperoni, house-made red sauce, pecorino Romano, Calabrian chili and fresh basil.
  • Loaded Elote Guacamole: Guacamole topped with charred corn, queso fresco, lime crema, Tajín and cilantro, served with tortillas.

"We’re excited to see Level99 officially open its doors in West Hartford and to be part of such an innovative new destination," said Brad Hittle, president and CEO of Two Roads Brewing Co.

"Level99 brings together competition, entertainment, great food and craft beer in a way that creates a truly unique experience. We’re proud to be part of this new location and look forward to welcoming guests to Two Roads Kitchen & Tap for an experience that embodies our ‘Road Less Traveled’ spirit."
