Reward increased in hit-and-run in Colchester that killed beloved Hartford city official (courant.com) — A state investigation into a deadly 2024 hit-and-run now includes a higher reward, and one of the people involved was a 44-year-old West Hartford man who escaped injury. Officials have boosted the reward to $25,000 for information on the Jeep Cherokee driver who struck and killed longtime Hartford public servant Noel McGregor on Route 2 in Colchester.
