Customers can choose from several spice levels, ranging from Country, which has no heat, to Code Breaker, the restaurant's spiciest option.

The expanded menu will also feature seasonal offerings, including:

  • Slidekicks: Chicken sliders.
  • Specialty drinks: Caramel Apple Ginger Ale and Spiced Brown Sugar Root Beer.
  • Milkshakes: Toasted Coconut and Mint Chocolate Chip.

The restaurant's Southern-inspired recipes have roots in the family of co-founder Brandi Killoran, including recipes for chicken, dipping sauces, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding and freshly baked cookies.

"We are grateful to the West Hartford community for embracing us from the beginning, and we are excited to welcome everyone back and bring more of the BIRDCODE experience to the place where it all began," Killoran said in a statement.
