WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Department of Public Works has temporarily suspended the sale of yard waste barrels due to ongoing supply chain issues, officials announced on Thursday.

The pause applies only to the purchase of barrels and does not affect the town’s curbside yard waste collection program.

Residents can continue to set out yard waste using 30-gallon biodegradable brown bags for regular pickup.
