Summer is here and it's time for some fun! Pick up a BINGO sheet from the library and fill them out while doing fun activities around town, at home, and in the library! The theme this year is Plant a Seed, Read&nbsp;and is rooted in the concept of farm to table. Try some new activities like gardening, cooking, visiting farmer's markets, and using the library's Seed Library.
Stop by the Main Library or the Ora Mason Library to pick up a BINGO sheet to get started! Every sheet you complete and return to the library is one entry into a raffle for a chance to win a gift card.&nbsp;This year we have three different raffles you can be entered into. The Main Library and the Ora Mason Library each have one raffle that you will be entered into if you return at least one BINGO sheet to that library. (Return one or more to each library to enter both raffles and have a better chance to win!) Finally, we have a raffle for both locations. Everyone who returns five BINGO sheets will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card. Please feel free to contact the library with any questions or for more information!


Participate anytime between July 1st and August 31st!&nbsp;BINGO sheets can be picked up and returned at either of our locations, 300 Elm Street, or 260 Benham Hill Road, and can be returned strategically at both for entry into more than one raffle. The 44th Annual WICC Surfside Hotel <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth</a> returns to Long Island Sound on Saturday, August 29, with fishing officially beginning at 12:01 a.m. Anglers from Connecticut and New York will compete for bragging rights—and a $25,000 grand prize awarded to the tournament's largest bluefish.
The weekend-long tournament features more than $40,000 in total cash prizes, including:
<ul>
 <li>1st Place: $25,000</li>
 <li>2nd Place: $7,500</li>
 <li>3rd Place: $2,500</li>
 <li>Smaller cash prizes awarded through 20th Place</li>
 <li>Port Prizes awarded for the heaviest bluefish weighed at each official Connecticut and New York weigh station (see below for complete list of weigh stations)</li>
</ul>
Young anglers, 17 and under, will also have the chance to win big. The tournament will award a $1,000 cash prize to the largest bluefish caught by a youth angler. Second and third place youth winners will receive $100 gift cards.
Anglers may register online at <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">www.bluefishtournament.com</a>&nbsp;or in person at any official tournament registration location throughout Connecticut and New York/Long Island.
